Welcome to Magical Managerie. Be sure to read the rules, and the plot. This a Harry Potter roleplay set in Harry, Hermione & Ron's 8th, and final year. This site is Technically AU, because well most of the things in the plot have NOT happened in the book, and we have Twilight thrown in it. This site is just for fun.

These Rules are here for you to follow and for the site to run smoothly. You have to be sure to follow them if you don't then the site wont run as smoothly as it should Now on to the Rules.

If the Site Staff wishes to add more Rules here they will.


THE MAIN RULES



    1.) We don't want any ilovehp or hprules or anything like that for user names. Use the name of your character or a just an Alis made for your user names PLEASE

    2.) The site is based on Harry Potter an Twilight.

    3.) When you make an Application for a Canon Character you have 4 days to start and finish it. After the four days are up then they will be moved to the Declined Application Board. For Original Characters you have 7 days to finish it and if its not finished in those 7 days then it will also be moved to the Declined Board.

    4.) We, the Site Staff get the last say in everything and anything that has to do with the site. Do not PM a Staff Member asking if you can be an Global Mod. or Moderator. We will pick them when we see who is going to be ACTIVE and who is going to be HELPFUL to the site.

    5.) Please do not Sign Up just to Advertise and/or Affiliate your site and/or just to spam on the site. It gets really annoying when people do that. Then the site gets really messy an the Staff has to clean it up to make it more presentable for people who want to Sign Up. Their is a Affiliate and Advertise board that is GUEST friendly so you can Advertise and Affiliate your sites their without Signing Up.

    6.) Please do not PM the Staff for certain codes that were used on the site. There are Sites out their that will help you find a code if you need one. You can go to Slightly Insane, Proboards® Support, and/or Extreme Data all your Code needs.

    7.) Swearing is allowed on the site but make sure you don't swear in every post you make. It will get kind of annoying and their might be younger kids on here that really don't need to read a lot of swearing. So I don't want to see any of F*** this and F*** that. None of that PLEASE.

    8.) Above all please respect people the way you want to be respected. It might be difficult to do because of the House Rivalry but don't get to aggressive with it. But you must RESPECT people when you are out of Character. We don't want any discrimination on the Site either. If someone says something that you don't like please tell at Staff member. There will be no Racism or anything like that. It doesn't matter were you live, what color your skin is or anything else. RESPECT EVERYONE ON THE SITE PLEASE.

    9.) The Staff Team can add more Rules here if they wish to so make sure you check it every once in a while to see if anymore have been added. We will make sure that we tell you when there is a NEW RULE added also.

    10.) Sex and Wizarding Alcoholic Drinks are allowed but make sure you don't go over board on it. If we do find out their are people that are going over board on it then I will delete this rule. If you do go in to a sexual scene make sure you tell an Admin and put [R] in the Subject. Also don't go in to detail about it. DRUGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. We don't like people doing them in Real Life and I'm not going to let people do them on this Site. Some have seen what drugs do to people. I remember a Story my father told me about his friend that Died by a Drug Over Dose. So please NO DRUGS. Cigarettes are fine but nothing else.

    11.) You are only allowed 2 Canon Characters and as many Original Characters as you wish. The only thing that we want is that you have the same amount of Females as Males. I've seen some sites that had just about all Females and only 1 Male and there was just about over 50 Members on the site.

    12.) Your Sig cannot stretch the page. If it does then it will be deleted and you'll have to find a new one. Some of hate it when the Page stretches and it also gets really annoying when it happens. So be sure you don't stretch the page at all.

    13.) The only Vampires allowed on the site are from Twilight and that's it. So no saying that you are a Vampire unless you are from Twilight.

    14.) Above All PLESE HAVE FUN

    15.) Activity is important. As an Admin I am very active and I ask my members to be active as well. I am not saying you have to come on 20 or 30 times a day, but I am just saying that it’s important that you come on a few times a week just to keep up with posts. Accounts that are inactive for longer than a period of 30 days will be deleted unless I am somehow informed of your absence. Also Canon Characters have to be more Active then Original Characters.

    16.) You can only have ONE CHARACTER per ACCOUNT. If we see you using one ACCOUNT for more then that Character you will get banned for the rest of the day. If you keep on doing it then you will be banned from the site indefinitely.


Graphic Rules


    1.) Please keep signatures no bigger than 500 x 500 px. Avatars should be no bigger than 100 x 100 px.

    2.) Only one image is allowed in your signature area is a Siggie unless you are using smaller images. If you are using avatar-sized images then you may have 4 images side by side.

    3.) Please do not post images containing nudity or pornography. They will be removed from your profile and you will be given a warning. If it occurs again, you may be banned.

    4.) Please use an image host to host your images. Don’t hotlink.



Character Rules



These are simple and we would appreciate if you followed them as your account will be deleted if you don't.

    1.) PLEASE, if you chose a canon character to be then be CANON! We won't tolerate anything else.

    2.) If you make your character up, basically use an original character, please take some time and make it a good one. No nonsense relation to any canon characters (no siblings, children etc).

    3.) Please make no characters which are children either as this gets annoying after a while also we RP Hogwarts and at the secound generation's time so there would be no children of any students!

    4.) If you want your character to be pregnant you have to PM one of the two ADMINS so we can talk and you also have to talk to the the guy that is the father to the child.

    5.) Please, this is still Hogwarts, muggle things don't work here. Ipods, Nintendo DS, PSP are not allowed to be used, for they would not work on the grounds of Hogwarts.

    6.) Students are only allowed 2 special abilities including one breed. Adults may only have up to 5 unless you are a Canon and we have discussed it along with the Site Staff.



[Anything that is in color means that it is a NEW RULE. Be sure to come check the rules out every once in a while to make sure none of the rules have changed or there aren't any new ones. We will let you know if there are any NEW RULES here.]



Role Playing Rules


    Canons::
    Most of the Canon characters are important to the storyline, so check the list if you wish to become one. You must be willing to accept the canon character and must be active.


    Applications::
    Character applications must be posted in the correct board for them to be checked. The submission form is in the submission board, copy and paste it into a new topic and fill out all fields to the best of your ability. You must wait to be approved or denied by a staff member before you are able to post in the in-character sections. Put Scabbers where it asks you for a password. This is how I know you have read the rules.


    GodMods/Mary-Sues/Gary-Stu's::
    Absolutely no Godmods, this makes the role play pointless if you are controlling other characters. However, if you are away for a period of time and wish the role play to continue, you can PM a fellow role player and ask them to carry you along with them so you can rejoin when you return.
    Mary Sues and Gary Stu's are not tolerated, your character can't be absolutely 100% perfect, give them imperfections, flaws, distinctive traits, this will make them more life like and easier to role play with.



    Deaths::
    Do not kill off a character unless you have the creator's permission and the reassurance of the person playing the character - if things come to deaths, make sure to post a warning for those of us who are queasy!


    Multiple Characters::
    The maximum number of characters one person can register is currently set at zero, the only limit is on cannon characters which is set at two. However if you wish to role play more than one character, all characters must be active, if not, you may be asked to delete a couple of your least active or increase the activity level of them.


    Inactivity::
    If you are going to be gone, please say so.. Make sure that I and the other staff members know that you are going to be gone. If you don't, it could result in your account being deleted. If you are gone for more than one month (especially without telling us) you will be deleted.
